SPOKANE, Wash – One of the properties in the Davenport Hotel Collection will undergo renovations this fall and winter and will reopen early next year as The Louie.
The Hotel Lusso sits at the corner of Sprague and Post across from the Historic Davenport Hotel.
It’s being renovated to what the hotel group describes as “a residential and refined experience” giving guests access to the full-service hotel across the street while maintaining the feel of a private residence.
The hotel group says guests can enjoy enhanced services like a personalized butler and a “chic evening cocktail experience.”
It will bear the name The Louie, in honor of Louis Davenport himself.
Davenport lived in the building, then called the Miller Block, while overseeing construction of the historic Davenport hotel in the early 1900s.
The hotel and the neighboring Post Street Ale House will be closed during renovations.
