WA CONGRESSIONAL DIST 4 – US REPRESENTATIVE
It’s a battle between two Republicans of different styles for the 4th congressional district in Washington.
As of 10:58 p.m. on election night, Dan Newhouse is leading with 50.35% of the vote.
Sessler is behind with 48.03%.
Newhouse has held the seat since 2015. He lost favor with some in the party when he was one of 10 Republicans to vote to impeach Donald Trump.
Sessler is a Trump supporter and attended the rally outside the White House on January 6th.
The district encompasses Okanogan, Douglas, Grant, Benton, Yakima and Klickitat Counties.
Sessler won a crowded primary with 33% of the vote compared to 23% for Newhouse.
