SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department arrested a student for bringing a replica handgun to Shadle Park High School Wednesday.
According to SPD, police were dispatched to Shadle for reports of a weapon on campus around 11:45 a.m.
SPD says concerned students reported the potential weapon to school staff.
SPD responded and detained two students. One of the students had an airsoft-style handgun.
That student was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center for possession of a weapon on school grounds.
