STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — If you were planning on hitting the slopes in Chewelah on Sunday afternoon, you’ll have to move to ‘plan B.’
49 Degrees North Mountain Resort posted on their Facebook around 9 a.m. on January 5 they were closed due to a power outage.
They said power is expected to be restored Sunday night.
“We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding,” they posted.
Anyone who purchased a lift ticket for January 5 should contact the resort’s ticketing department at 509-935-6649 to receive a Snow Check voucher.
The resort said it will reopen in the morning on January 6.
