MOSES LAKE, Wash. — MOSES LAKE, Wash. — The Moses Lake Police Department (MLPD) is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred around 9:15 p.m. on March 21, 2025.
According to police, four victims suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to Samaritan Hospital. A 14-year-old male from Moses Lake died at the scene, and three of the victims were teenagers.
The MLPD said a suspect vehicle was located unoccupied and has been seized as evidence. Detectives are still processing the scene with support from the Washington State Crime Lab.
On March 22, 2025, the Moses Lake Tactical Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Buell Drive in Moses Lake to recover evidence related to the investigation.
MLPD said more details will be released if there are any major developments.
The Moses Lake School District (MLSD) Superintendent also released a statement.
“Support services are also available to any student across our district who may be impacted. Families are encouraged to reach out to their school counselor for building administrator for assistance.” MLSD Superintendent Carol Lewis.
