COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — HeatPraxia, a sauna studio in Coeur d’Alene, reopened this week with expanded facilities after a burst pipe destroyed its original location last year.
The business closed in January 2024 when freezing temperatures caused a pipe to burst in its original location, destroying the entire business.
When first contacted last year, HeatPraxia’s owners were uncertain if they would ever be able to reopen.
The studio has now not only reopened but expanded. The new location features a larger space, additional saunas, and some rooms now offer stunning views of the lake.
“The hardest part out of everything was to not be serving,” said Heather Gallegos, HeatPraxia Partner and COO. “To see them come back through the doors with huge smiles on their faces and they leave almost floating, it’s amazing.”
HeatPraxia says many of its customers come for pain relief, and the business is excited to serve them again.
The studio is now accepting appointments at its new location. For more information, click here.
