If you live in Washington and have been wanting an e-bike, now’s your chance!
Starting today, April 9, the Washington State Department of Transportation is offering a new e-bike rebate program to make active transportation more affordable.
Through the WE-Bike Program, WSDOT will provide over $4 million in instant rebates to reduce the upfront cost of e-bikes and their accessories.
Depending on income eligibility, Washingtonians can qualify for either $300 or $1,200 rebate.
Applications for the program opened at 7 a.m. on April 9. WSDOT plans to disperse roughly 10,000 rebates.
