DEER PARK, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office suspects a driver was under the influence when he died in a crash in Deer Park.
According to SCSO, a 40-year-old man was speeding around 5 a.m. April 4 and crashed into a sign in a parking lot near S. Main Street and I Street.
The man had to be extricated from the vehicle and later died at the hospital.
SCSO says the man was not wearing seatbelt and suspected of being impaired.
The Medical Examiner will release his identity at a later time.
