MOSCOW, Idaho — Part of downtown Moscow will be torn up starting June 23, 2025, to allow road construction crews to replace the city’s aging sewer lines.
In addition to line replacement, crews will also install new manholes and reconnect existing sewer services.
The project is expected to wrap up for the construction season by September 23, 2025.
Commuters should anticipate South Jackson Street’s parking lot to be closed in phases during construction.
The Moscow Urban Renewal Agency will allow temporary parking at the southeast corner of Sixth and Jackson.
Sixth Street from Main to Jackson will be closed at times, and sidewalk access may be limited.
For concerns about access to public services due to this project, contact Bob Buvel, Senior Civil Engineer, City of Moscow Engineering Division at (208) 883-7031 or by email at bbuvel@ci.moscow.id.us.
