LEWISTON, Idaho — A Lewiston juvenile was hit by an SUV while riding his bike on 5th Street Friday afternoon.
According to the Lewiston Police Department, the juvenile was riding a bike in the area around 4:30 p.m. Police said he rode into the road and was hit by a Chevy Tahoe.
He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
No citations were issued for the crash.
Police are asking parents to take the time to talk with their children about traffic safety as we head into summer.
