SPOKANE, Wash. — A man crashed his car then jumped to his death off a bridge in Spokane early Sunday morning.
According to Washington State Patrol, a 48-year-old Spokane man crashed on the westbound I-90 off-ramp to Hamilton Street just before 5 a.m. on Sunday.
WSP says before the crash, the man was driving east in the westbound lanes.
The man then got out of his car and sat on the edge of the bridge. Multiple people tried to get the man off the edge of the bridge, but he jumped off.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one was injured in the crash. WSP says the man’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
