Spotty showers will develop in far Eastern Washington and track into North Idaho in the afternoon. Rain chances will be on the lower end of things, however, 20 to 30 percent.

High pressure builds Friday through Sunday, pushing temperatures into the 50s. Even so, rain will swing back into the forecast late Friday and Friday night.
Gusty winds will herald a pattern change starting Sunday. Gusts of 30-40 mph will be widespread with parts of the Blue Mountains, Cascades, and Columbia Basin seeing gusts up to 50 mph.
This fresh system brings significant mountain snow starting Sunday night, while temperatures cool enough for a winter mix in the valleys and lowlands through next Wednesday.
