SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Two Spokane County school district ballot measures have failed to pass in Tuesday night’s special election.
East Valley School District tried to pass a $200 million bond to replace East Valley High School and Middle School. The levy only received just over 49% approval.
The Nine Mile Falls School district, attempted to pass a capital levy to fund major repairs at Lakeside High School. Even though the levy only needed a simple majority, it still only received 46% voter approval.
