The action mirrors an executive order Idaho Gov. Brad Little issued Tuesday, which extended the holiday period for state employees.
Most Latah County offices will be closed to the public July 2nd through July 6th.
County parks will remain open despite the Parks and Recreation office closing.
District Courts and the Latah County Sheriff’s Office will remain open to the public on July 2nd and July 6th but will be closed July 3rd.
The Latah County Fairgrounds and Events Center will remain open July 2nd through July 6th for previously scheduled events. The RV Park at the fairgrounds will be open throughout the entire holiday weekend.
