SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash – Swimmers hoping to cool off this week in Spokane Valley will need to find an option other than Valley Mission Pool.
Spokane Valley announced late Monday the pool will be closed all week due to “unexpected maintenance.”
A spokesperson for the city says the circulation pump failed and needs to be replaced. The pump is on order and will need to be installed.
The city hopes the pool could open on Friday.
Other options for swimmers are the Spokane County Aquatics Centers and City of Spokane pools, in addition to two other pools in Spokane Valley.
