STEVENS COUNTY, WASH. — Stevens County Fire District 1 has downgraded the evacuation alert level for a portion of the Autumn Lane Fire area to Level 2 (Get Set) for the area north of McKenzie Woolard Road.

This change means residents in that zone are no longer under immediate evacuation orders but should remain prepared to leave if the situation deteriorates. Despite the downgrade, fire officials emphasize that an active wildfire continues to burn in the area.
“We ask that you remain prepared to evacuate if situation changes,” Stevens County Fire District 1 stated in the announcement.
Residents can track evacuation levels and fire activity through the Stevens County Public Information Map, which is updated regularly as conditions change.
