SPOKANE, Wash. — Labor Day is on Monday, and there will be some closures and cancellations in the city of Spokane you should know about.
According to the city, garbage, recycling and food and yard waste services will be a day late after the holiday, with normal Friday services planned for Saturday.
City facilities, including City Hall and the Waste to Energy facility will be closed. The Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will also be closed.
All Spokane Public Library and Spokane County Library branches will be closed on Monday for Labor Day.
The city says on-street paid parking meters and kiosks will be free on Monday, but all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.
The Looff Carrousel, Numerica Skyride and Numerica Skate Ribbon in Riverfront Park will be open for all of Labor Day weekend.
