SPOKANE, Wash. — If you are still in need of resources after the Spokane Complex Fire, there is still time to get help.
The wildfire relief donation and distribution center at Northtown mall is still open for a few more days.
There is food, baby supplies, hygiene products, and more still available.
For those who lost a home in the fires, there’s new bedding and household supplies available.
The site will be open to wildfire victims daily from noon to 7 p.m. Friday will be the last day of operation.
“There’s been a lot of really encouraging moments here for us and our volunteers,” said the distribution center’s warehouse manager Richie Brower. “We’ve seen people drive from all over the state of Washington, and all over the northwest show up and bring things.”
The center is no longer accepting any more donations. The volunteers who have been managing the center say after Friday, leftover resources will be handed off to the Spokane County Emergency Management team. From there, the team will distribute the leftover items to other agencies handling wildfire relief.
