OTHELLO, Wash. — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that damaged a parked vehicle in Othello on September 19.
Deputies responded to the 2100 block of April Road in the Edson Tracks area at approximately 11:08 p.m. following a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they located a parked vehicle that had been struck by gunfire.
Investigators have identified possible juvenile suspects as potentially involved in the shooting. No arrests have been made, and the names of the suspected individuals will not be released because they are juveniles.
Based on information developed during the investigation, the incident appears to be gang-related, according to the sheriff’s office. However, the motive for the drive-by shooting remains unknown and is still under investigation.
No injuries have been reported or are known to have occurred as a result of the incident, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who witnessed the incident or saw or heard anything suspicious in the area to contact them with information that may assist investigators.
