AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Around 100 members of the 141st Air Refueling Wing stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base have been activated due to the ongoing war in Iran, the Washington Department of Military confirmed.
According to the Seattle Times, the 141st is the only Air National Guard flying unit in the state and among the oldest in the U.S.
Air refueling wings from other states have also been activated.
