PULLMAN, Wash – City crews in Pullman and Moscow are working to block roads and pump water, as rising river levels have led to flooding in those communities.
The City of Pullman posted pictures of flooding in downtown Pullman and in other areas of town.
They’re reminding people to not walk or drive through standing water.
The City of Moscow reported an urgent flooding advisory, saying major roads are impacted and may be impassable.
The National Weather Service says flooding of the South Fork Palouse River reached moderate flood stage early Saturday morning, but was expected to crest just before hitting major flood stage.
