KELLOGG, Idaho – The tough winter continues for Inland Northwest ski resorts.
Thursday, Silver Mountain announced it was closed for the day due to extreme winds.
The mountain has been sporadically closed in certain parts since late last week, when a wind storm moved in and knocked out power.
Friday, two skiers had to be rescued from an avalanche.
