SPOKANE, Wash. — The ice is melting and the weather is warming, which often signals spring is here. It also means that it’s time to remove studded tires
The Washington Department of Transportation requires that all studded tires must be removed by the end of the day Tuesday, March 31, to avoid a potential fine of $137.
There is no individual exception to the studded tire season.
When traveling in Washington, you are required to follow the State of Washingtons motor vehicle laws.
