COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – A man suspected of several sexual assaults in Kootenai County in 2017 was arrested in the Philippines and has been brought back to Idaho to face charges.
Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies say 62-year-old Michael T. Moore is under arrested for two counts of rape, along with drug and battery charges.
Deputies say his victims responded to social media ads for work on Moore’s property near Coeur d’Alene in 2017. The sheriff’s office says the victims were then drugged and sexually assaulted.
While awaiting results of forensic testing, deputies say Moore fled to the Philippines.
U.S. Marshals assisted in the case and arrested Moore. He was brought back to the United States and booked into the Kootenai County jail May 10th.
