SPOKANE, Wash. — Several closures will be in place in the City of Spokane for the Memorial Day holiday on Monday.
All Spokane Public Library branches will be closed for Memorial Day. The Spokane Municipal Court, City Hall and Community Justice Services will also be closed.
The Spokane City Council has canceled its meeting for Memorial Day. It will hold its next meeting on Monday, June 1.
Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will be a day late all next week, with normal Friday services planned for Saturday. If you miss garbage day, you can report your missed solid waste collection online.
The Waste to Energy Facility and Spokane County Transfer Stations will be closed and not able to receive garbage, recycling, food and yard waste or household hazardous waste.
On-street parking meters and kiosks across the city will not require payments, but all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.
All Riverfront Park attractions will be open during the holiday weekend. Golf courses in the city will have normal operations as well.
