Weโre staying dry and warm to start the week, but we are unlikely to finish it that way.
Plan Your Monday
Expect dry and warm conditions on Monday with highs reaching the 80s. Breezy north winds will swing into portions of Central Washington. One or two showers are possible this afternoon in Boundary County and in Lincoln County in Montana. Overall, itโs a pretty decent summer day.
What Weโre Tracking
Temperatures peak on Wednesday in the upper 80s to mid 90s; just enough heat to be a little uncomfortable in the afternoon. Winds will begin to pick up on Thursday ahead of a major pattern change coming for the weekend.
Friday will see the merciful return of rain chances to our area. Thunderstorms are possible on Friday with isolated rain showers over the weekend. Temperatures will be chilly for late June, with highs only in the 60s, a strong possibility for most of the region. Hoopfest in Spokane will feel quite different than the past few years!
