GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — The body of a missing Federal Way man was pulled from Moses Lake on Tuesday.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Jaime Lazaro Ticorralco was first reported missing on Sunday. He was last seen swimming in the water near the south end of the lake near the sand dunes on Saturday afternoon.
At first, the Sheriff’s Office says Jaime’s friends were uncertain if he was missing or just have joined other people who were enjoying the holiday weekend.
Deputies searched the lake and the area for days. Jaime’s body was recovered from the water Tuesday and his next of kin have been notified.
“We know this news may be difficult for Jaime’s family, friends and others in our community who have followed the search,” The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said. “We extend our condolences to everyone grieving his loss and hop they find comfort and support in the days ahead.
The Grant County Coroner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
