Olympia, Wash. – State fire assistance has been mobilized under the Washington State Fire Services Resource Mobilization Plan to pre-position firefighting resources to respond to potential wildfires in 13 counties.
The 13 counties are Klickitat, Yakima, Kittitas, Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Adams, Ferry, Stevens, Lincoln, Spokane, and Pend Oreille.
Red Flag conditions will be a Particularly Dangerous Situation on August 1st which signals a rare, exceptionally dangerous fire-weather event.
