SPOKANE, Wash. — People can now go into more of Riverside State Park. The day use areas and campgrounds at the Equestrian Area and the Bowl & Pitcher re-opened yesterday following the fires in Spokane.
Park officials also reopened a section of the Centennial Trail from the TJ Meenach Bridge to Equestrian Lane.
The trails across the bridge from Bowl & Pitcher and north to Seven Mile Road will remain closed.The Little Spokane Natural Area will stay closed as well.
The Riverside State Park Foundation is asking people to stay out of the closed areas.
