Sunnier, drier days are ahead, but we’ll still see a few cloudy hours Wednesday and Thursday in your forecast.
Skies will clear by late Wednesday morning as drier air moves into the region. While afternoon highs remain mild in the 60s, clear skies Wednesday Night will allow temperatures in northern valleys to drop into the 30s with the potential for frost. Temperatures will remain mild in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene in the 40s. Mostly cloudy skies return on Thursday but will finally clear up for the long term on Friday.
Also on Friday will be the next step up in our ongoing warming trend as highs reach the 70s. Expect highs to peak in the upper 70s and low 80s on Sunday and Monday as dry conditions and light winds persist across the Inland Northwest.
