POST FALLS, Idaho — Drivers heading on I-90 near Coeur d’Alene should prepare for nighttime lane closures the next two nights between Huetter Road and Greensferry Road.
According to the Idaho Transportation Department, the closure begins at 8 p.m. Tuesday night as crews prepare for a westbound traffic shift Wednesday evening.
ITD says overnight closures of the State Highway 41 ramps will also begin on Wednesday.
If you are traveling from Coeur d’Alene to Post Falls, you will not be able to use Exit 7 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday through Friday. The off-ramp will reopen each morning, with the final closure ending Saturday morning. Traffic will be detoured to the exit at Seltice Way.
If you are entering I-90 in Post Falls toward Spokane, the westbound on-ramp at State Highway 41 will close from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. Drivers should use Spokane Steet to enter westbound I-90 during that time.
ITD says traffic on I-90 westbound between Huetter Road and State Highway 41 will shift to the sound side of the interstate on Wednesday night. This will allow crews to begin work on the new westbound lanes.
